No! GroupMe isn’t associated with your school, and your information and chats will never be shared--not with your school or any third parties. Unless of course, you decide to include the professor in your group…then well, that’s your choice 😊

Nice, I'm a student! What’s it take to join GroupMe Campus? 

All students need is a .edu email and the free GroupMe app to join their campus. Simply log into GroupMe and verify your .edu email to get exclusive access to groups, classmates, and deals for your campus.

Are there only students in the groups that have been made visible to my GroupMe campus?

The groups you’ll find on your school’s GroupMe campus are owned by students and can only be found in search by other student users who verified their .edu email. Even though the groups are run by students, there can be other members if the owner chooses to share link for the group or directly adds other members.

What are student deals?

Student deals are special discounts and offers on a range of products and services that can be beneficial for your academic and personal life. 'Student Deals from Microsoft' are curated by GroupMe while all other deals are facilitated by Microsoft Shopping.

I don’t see my school on GroupMe Campus. How can I add my school?

When you try and join campus by entering your .edu email address, it’s possible that you may see an alert that says no campus exists yet on GroupMe for your school. Don’t fret! You can be the first to get your campus going, please just send a request to setup a new school with your school name and .edu email address to GroupMe support here.
